This morning I observed 20-30 SNOW GEESE flying north over Geneva. We are all eagerly awaiting their mass arrival, and we've been getting calls the last week or so at the Audubon Center from folks anxious to see them! For updates on their arrival and activity in the Montezuma Wetlands Complex, please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at Montezuma Audubon Center, and @Montezuma_Audubon_Center (respectively).
My FOY red-winged blackbird was at our feeders at the MAC on 3/2/19, and they've been regularly showing up since. Pulling into work this morning...the marsh was starting to sound like it was coming back to life :) Oh-grah-LEEE! -- Alyssa Johnson Environmental Educator 315.365.3588 Montezuma Audubon Center 2295 State Route 89 P.O.
