Just a quick note:
Saturday night, around 11:00pm, while doing some brief star-gazing from the back yard, I was pleasantly surprised to hear the four-noted night flight call of an Upland Sandpiper, as it passed overhead on its southward migration. The distinct call heard was the bubbly "Bweep-bweep-bweep-bweep!" call, infrequently heard during night migration through this part of Upstate, NY. Good birding!
