The MOURNING WARBLER was still singing from the same area on both sides of the Sherwood Platform in Sapsucker Woods half an hour ago, now giving a more typical (but still short and soft) song, as well as harsh call notes every now and then. The ORCHARD ORIOLE is singing lustily from the parking lot area. Yesterday I heard a second Orchard Oriole sing, which caused the young male to fly over to check it out, but neither of us was able to find the culprit again.
