Implement database related portions of an application. Strategize, build, and maintain SSIS packages and other ETL tools. Troubleshoot database related issues in a timely fashion. Work on specific data related projects. *Required Skills/Background:* Geneva and data warehousing experience In depth knowledge using SQL2008 and SQL2008R2. Ability to write complex Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, and Functions. Must be comfortable with ambiguity and fast changes with an ability to adapt quickly and easily. Strong knowledge on Data Centric development. Proficient understanding of financial instruments including equities, bonds, swaps, CDS, etc. Deep understanding of interfaces for the warehouse with all upstream and downstream hedge funds systems. Candidate must demonstrate ability to work with minimal supervision and interact with technical and business experts in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Must have exceptionally strong communications skills. Positive attitude and ability to build strong relationships within the company. Additional Skills Desired: Experience with Securities Data, Market Data (real-time and historical), Risk, Portfolio Accounting, and OMS systems.
