Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Reading Below trace information
Nataraj, I would recommend loading that SDI trace file into Cisco Voice Log Translator (VLT) and select Detailed under Messages Translation. I have found some documents that list what some of the Information Element values are, but none that match what you are indicating. Example Output from VLT for: CCM|Ie - H225BearerCapabilityIe IEData= 04 03 80 90 A2 Information Element(s) 04 03 80 90 A2 -- Bearer Capability i = 0x0800900A2, ITU-T standard, Speech, Circuit mode, 64k, mu-law Thanks, Adam On Wed, Apr 28, 2010 at 8:43 AM, NATARAJ turuvekere nutty...@gmail.com wrote: Hi Pleaese any one help to read the bellow SDI trace. 04/23/2010 14:39:24.851 CCM|Ie - H225BearerCapabilityIe IEData= 04 04 88 18 F8 A5 |CLID::StandAloneClusterNID::10.22.147.83LVL::State TransitionMASK::0040 I would like to know what is the information in IEData= 04 04 88 18 F8 A5. [OSL | CCIE_Voice] SIP phones on CUCM not working properly over a VPN
Hello, I have an interesting problem that I have not been able to solve. I have my own pod at my office, and access remotely over a VPN with a 851 in the lab and either a 871 or UC520 at the remote end. All phones are 7961 or 7971s. At the remote end, I have a PSTN phone, and one each for HQ and BR1 and two for BR2. Four digit dialing works from all sites. CUCME has a remote SIP and SCCP phone with no issues on either. For CUCM, if I try to make calls with a SIP phone (HQ Phone 2) at the remote end, the call has one way audio, ends after 19 seconds, and the SIP phone generally resets after a minute on a regular basis. If I take the same physical phone into my lab directly connected to my pod so it is not making calls from the remote location over the VPN, it works fine with no issues. The remote SIP phone for BR2 phone 4 works fine over the VPN, and can call all locations with no issues. Is it just the remote CUCM SIP phones that have trouble. I have tried auto registering, migrating, and manually configuring a remote SIP phone on the CUCM, but the results are the same. I am experiencing this on 7961 and 7971 phones with a SIP load from CUCM. Interestingly, when I run IP Communicator on my laptop, it is able to run SIP with no calling issues. On the VPN from my remote location to my lab, I am not experiencing any IP issues, reachability issues, or other calling issues. I have gone thru a number of troubleshooting guides, and have not found anything. Has anyone else experienced SIP issues like this when running over a VPN? Bruce Clapp Senior Systems Engineer Right!
