You are not going to see any reservation on the LAN interfaces because the
RSVP reservation occurs only on the IP path between one RSVP agent and the
other.

It looks like for user-b, the ANI does not match the mailbox extension.

To see what ANI was presented to CUC, you may use RTMT > Unity Connection >

I configured RSVP agent on routers for Call Admission Control with CUCM.

Here's the screen output when there's a call connected:

R1#show ip rsvp interface
interfacersvp allocated i/f max flow max sub max
Gi0/0ena 0 750M 750M 0
Gi0/0.102ena 0 112K 112K 0
Se0/1/0 ena 24K1158K1158K0
Se0/1/0.103 ena 24K1158K1158K0

For testing purpose, I would like to see bandwidth allocation on the LAN
interface. How shall I configure the router to achieve this? Or it's
impossible?

Thanks!

Clock timezone PST -8 would set the time to -8 hours from GMT and the PST
stands for Pacific Standard Time.

clock summer-time PDT recurring would add the hour used for Daylight savings
time, in this case Pacific Daylight Time

The only issue on this is knowing that they changed the dates this is active
so you could be in trouble if your graded and the IOS does not do this
properly automatically like it should. So recently in the US the start and
end of Daylight Savings Time has changed and I do not believe that is
reflected in the IOS used in the lab. Therefore you might want to know how
to change dates to the proper ones before taking the exam.

So for EST in US

clock summer-time EDT recurring 2 SUN Mar 02:00 first SUN Nov 02:00

Hi

I am trying to setup up two frame relay PVCs on a serial interface (WIC-1T).
On one PVC, I will have a bandwidth of 1536kbps, and 768kbps on the other
one. This gets me thinking that the total bandwidth would be 2304kbps
(2.25Mbps).

I may be wrong, but I thought on a serial interface - WIC-1T, the bandwidth
is 1.544Mbps? Then how does it works with the combined bandwidth from the
two PVCs?

Please help

Cheers

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] (no subject)

2011-06-19 Thread Roger Carpio
Santiago,

This is a question I would expect from an end user; not someone who's
preparing for the CCIE Lab. Please do your homework; get detailed sdi/sdl
traces, app logs, packet captures and if those don't give you the answer;
forward them to me and I'll take a look at them.

Please don't take it personal, we've all went thru basic configuration
issues when we started but let's just try to keep the distribution list at
expert level as much as possible. Perhaps if you ask for help telling us
what you have done; you wouldn't receive an answer like mine.

Finally, from my experience; look at the back of the IP phone and make sure
you are adding the correct phone model in CUCM. An App log will easily show
you this mismatch if that were the case.

Regards,
Roger Carpio.

You can't use a translation rule or dial peer with mgcp.add "7" to the
prefix field on the mgcp gateway under the css or create a translation
pattern of xxx and prefix a 7. Add the the translation pattern to its own
partition and add that partition as the first one in the css on the gateway.

If the phone is added as SCCP in but is running SIP firmware that can cause the
problem, also make sure you have a non-secure profile set on the phone too.

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] SRST time of phones

2011-06-19 Thread cisco cisco
Hi Experts,

Is it expected/correct behaviour that the phone ( 7965) ignores the
time-zone command in the telephony service when going in SRST?

On the contrary the time-format and date-format are applied.

How does it work ? Phone puts its local time-zone offset to the clock of
SRST router?

Thanks

Can anyone give suggestion on how to meet the requirement of "Phones should
work same as it is registered with CUCM"?

It's a very broad topic since there are so many features on CUCM.

Here's what I can think of:

1) Basic call routing (phone to phone, intra and inter sites, PSTN calls) both
outgoing and incoming.

2) Secondary dial tone

3) Voicemail (voicemail button, voicemail pilot number, CFwd Busy, CFwd No
answer)

4) multi-channel support, hold, conference.

5) Do we need to care about corporate directory?  How about calling names in
SRST mode?
