I call from the local site B PSTN phone that is configured for a RDP and RD

I call the MVA number put in my pin, press 1 to dial a number and dial 2001.

When I look at the screen of hqph1 I just see the extension 3001 is calling, no

Should I see a name and number?

What so you want to see? You are calling from a PSTN number into the XML
Script. When you call a internal number through the mva, you will the
number am when the destination hooks up and the call is connected you will

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Lab question call routing

2012-12-22 Thread Cory Gray
You get points for questions in a particular section. If there is an OB
Unity Question in the Unity Section and SRST in the SRST section then no.
You could theoretically get a 100% on call routing and get a 0% on those
other two sections.

HI Guys,

I have configured cme-srst on my router to  support phones  &

work between ip phones as well as PSTN calls and that the forwarded calls
should play user greeting and MWI must work. How do I achieve this given that
the cue has also lost connectivity with the callmanger ( jtapi integ) as is on
the same srst router

Topology:

===

CUCM - WAN link cut---mgcp gateway ( now in cme srst )

integration is there and  has lost connectivity

It depends what the question ask , or what is your requirement

1) With # in the h323 you don't have to use Predot trailing # you can
use only Predot but for MGCP GW its need it. But its not any harm if you use
Predot trailing # for h323 also

charAt will only return a single character, which you are testing against a
string of characters. For your particular case then you would use subString as
such

Callerinfo.subString(0,2) == "996".

subString(0 = where to start, 2 = where to end) will return the bytes between
and including the start, and end in this case that is 3 bytes as CallerInfo[0]
+ CallerInfo[1] + CallerInfo[2]

"5.*" would imply RegEx type of expressions, which may be possible but you need
to explicitly define that. You're better off doing something like
myString.charAt(0) == "5" as it should meet your needs quite easily.

If you are not using a premium license or are otherwise unable to use the java
methods you could also use a Menu Step, have two branches, one for "5" and one
for everything else" and throw a get digit string step under the 5 branch to
collect the rest.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] CUCM slow while changing service parameter

Hello,

My CUCM response is very slow when I update Cisco Callmanager service paramter.
It is running on vm.

Can you please suggest is there any setting on vm to improve the performance.

Rest everything works normal.

Please suggest if you have any technical detail to share about this.

Regards,
