Based on my guesstimate these are the mandatory commands needed to make the
script happy.

dial-p v 1 voip
desc SUB-dialpeer
voice-class codec 1
voice-class h323 1
no vad
destination-pattern 3...$
session target ipv4:10.10.210.11 --SUB
ip qos dscp cs3 signal
preference 0
dtmf-relay h245-alpha
!
!
!
dial-p v 2 voip
desc PUB-dialpeer
voice-class codec 1
voice-class h323 1
no vad
destination-pattern 3...$
session target ipv4:10.10.210.10 --PUB
ip qos dscp cs3 signal
preference 1
dtmf-relay h245-alpha
!

Setup and TCP timeout should be set to 3 seconds each under the h323 class.

Hey,
I would hard code the preferences. Being that the default preference in
canonical terms is 0, you could set the preference on the pub dial peer to
preference 1, or you could set the sub dial-peer to preference 1 and the pub to
preference 2. Either way, I would hard code it.

in that case we have to create the 2 voip dial peers pointing to sub and

My question here , in order to make sure the preference of the 1st dial

the tag index of the dial peer will grantee that the sup dial peer will
chosen 1st as it is tag is less than the pub dial-peer

I need to free these resources to use them with my media resources, but

 Thanks All.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] H323 VG dial-peers

2013-03-10 Thread Bill
Remember that even if you set this on the edge it is possible to remark at the
dial peer or by policy map. This could be quite useful, say ITSP #1 uses one
setting and ITSP#2 uses another. Then you could set them differently as they
are sent. This gives you flexibility.

In this case the command is being used to ensure cs3 is used for signaling.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] all incoming calls to HQ phones failing

2013-03-10 Thread Bill
First step is to ensure calls are going out the PSTN and coming in the VG. If
it. Is your lab then you can easily do this if not then SP has to do it on the
PSTN side.

You should then verify at your VG the number as it arrives. Use debug isdn
q931 to verify it is hitting your GW. Then verify the CSS/partition for the GW
and the number of significant digits inbound.

You should or could then start checking your MGCP messages if this does not
solve it.

Good luck

wrong with it. HQ Router is a mgcp gateway and I'm using only 6 Channels for
 T1 controller.

What else can I do or check to fix this problem.
