Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Caller id Unknown in MGCP Incoming PSTN calling

2013-08-14 Thread Daniel Pagan
Are you using calling party transformation patterns? If so, check to ensure
you're not stripping the calling number using improper configurations at the
transformation level. If that looks fine then my recommendation would be review
the CCM SDI traces.

First, what does the DA process list in the CallingPartyNumber field? Is it
blank or does it show your '91283666' number? You can find the DA process
by searching detailed SDI traces with dd="5876" (include the quotation marks)
then scroll down a bit for the DA details. If you *don't* see
CallingPartyNumber=91283666 in the DA then perhaps it's not being sent to
CUCM via backhaul properly. You can verify this with a debug ccm backhaul
packet or even in SDI traces. In traces, the SETUP should contain a long string
of characters, but the calling number will be searchable by using "3x 3x 3x 3x
3x"etc. where the x=callingNumberDigit. In your case try searching 39 31 32 38
33 36 36 36 31 31 31 31

Also, CUCM instructs the IP phone (assuming it's using SCCP stack) to display
call information on its LCD screen through a message called
DisplayPromptStatus. Check to see what the CUCM server is sending to the phone
by searching for this in a StationD message. It will contain a section that
says "content="

If you're using transformations, you can find the resulting transformed pattern
by searching traces for globalizeIncomingCgpn, it should be fillowed by the
globalized number. If this is blank then there's the issue.

Hope you find this helpful.

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] CFur display

2013-08-14 Thread Karen Johnson
hi all.,

anyone face this before,  call from 4001 to 3001 thru GK in SB SRST mode/Cfur,
most of time show as 4001 (instead of +19723033001).
But sometime, i will show as +19723033001.

And looks like this is caused by  Phone 3001 is ringing, however CFUR is not
kick in, that is why only show as 4001.
When CFUR kick in, it will show as +19723033001.

Why sometimes CFUR work, and sometimes not ?
