I had attempted lab couple of months ago in Dubai, speed was pretty good, only
the student PC is bit slow, but that is managable.

This is expected behavior. The MWI off event is sent only once the message is

IP address from the CUCM (DHCP) server., Not sure what exactly to check for.

There is not enough info here to troubleshoot this issue.
Post full config of br1and pstn router and tell us what you have  configured in
cucm and what your goal is.

Your controller config is not matching your serial  interface number.
Controller 0/0/1
Serial interface 0/0/0

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] HWIC-4ESW POE issue

2010-06-24 Thread Deepak sidana
Hi All,

I am in process of setting home lab, i am facing a problem with "HWIC-4ESW".
I have crated L2 & L3 vlans(vlan 200,400) on BR-II Router. & configure the
ports with following commands.

switchport trunk native vlan 200
 switchport mode trunk
 switchport voice vlan 400

i have also tried "pppoe enable" command under interface, but its also not
helpul.

When i plug the IP Phone, it does't recive the power,so vlan does't come up.If
i plug my laptop driectly to port
it work fine.

Please suggest how to make the "HWIC-4ESW" Power enabled.

Thanks Bill

I got something on "Route pattern wildcards" in CIPT-I book.

+

Matches one or more occurrences of any digit that matches the previous wildcard

Looking for more explanation on this, as its look confusing to me.
If i create route pattern of 51[23]+

&

dial 51234, What will be the behaviour?

the + is the international escape code.  It is used to represent 001, 011, 00
depending on what country you live in.

OSL Voice, RS, Security, and SP constituents,

As many of you now know, some changes were made Friday night (without being
tested) that caused mail service to be interrupted over the weekend.
Those responsible (not me - I just got the privilege of having to FIX it :)
have been drug into a back alley and promptly dispatched of.

Anyway - big test message to see if mail is processing correctly. If you do get
this message, REPLY TO ALL - that way all of the messages float through the OSL
mail server and we can confirm in a larger way that mail is back up properly.

Thanks!

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] ISDN CCBs

2009-05-08 Thread Deepak sidana
Hi,

Can someone explain what is CCBs in ISDN?

I have identical routers running the same ios, but one of my router show when
PSTN call are active as =CCB:callid=7D74, sapi=0, ces=0, B-chan=6,
calltype=VOICE

but it also show=CCB:callid=7D96, sapi=0, ces=0 calltype=SIGNALING(wat this
mean)

I am wondreing its not showing calltype=SIGNALING on another router with
identical setup.
