[OSL | CCIE_Voice] CUCM webpage timeouts (sanity insanity)

2013-07-23 Thread Nadeem Ahmed
hello,

Initially it was design such a way, Browser session to times out after 30 mins
and user must have to re-authenticate. later an enhancement was raised and
resolved in 8.6 version. so you can configure the idle timeout from CLI.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/cli_ref/8_6_1/cli_ref_861.html#wp313461

Command syntax

set webapp session timeout minutes

Parameters

•minutes specifies the time, in minutes, that can elapse before a web
application times out and logs off the user.

–Value range: 5-9 minutes

–Default value: 30 minutes

Thanks & Regards
Nadeem Ahmed

Hello Karen,

falling ...SRST. this take few secs to fall from normal to SRST mode.

You can test this and let me know if this help.

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] FTP from CUE failed

2013-06-04 Thread Nadeem Ahmed
Hello Karen,

There could be multiple issue, but seems like routing issue to me.

1) first check the connectivity, try ping from CUE to your FTP server IP and
vice versa?
2) Path is shared (where license is there) on FTP server.
3) re-verify the username and password or create a new one, and shared the path
where there is license file .
4) assign privileges to this users for files and directories ( like read, write
etc..) on user setting on FTP server.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] uccx login showing unauthorized...

2013-05-31 Thread Nadeem Ahmed
Hello Amit,

You can use below reference link in order to fix this issue

In this case, apply this workaround: 2)
- Start > Run > cet.bat.
- At the warning message click “No”
- In the list of Configuration Object Types, select
“com.cisco.crs.cluster.config.AppAdminSetupConfig”
- In the right pane, select the one record that appears, right click and
select “Modify”
- In the dialog window that appears, select tab
“com.cisco.crs.cluster.config.AppAdminSetupConfig”
- The field “Setup State” is set to “DONE”. Change it to “FRESH_INSTALL”.
Click “Apply” & “OK”
- Desktop > Services icon.
- Restart service “Cisco Unified CCX Node Manager”
- Open a new appadmin page and login with the initial credentials
(Administrator – ciscocisco)

 - You are now in the initial setup wizard again. Navigate through the
pages. Your previous configuration should still be in place.
- When you are asked for the licenses enter the same license file again.
- In the last page you can select admin users again. Select new admin users
from the list of CM End users.
- Finish the wizard.
Now login again with the new admin user! All other configuration has been
preserved.
 Hope this help.

Nadeem Ahmed
