Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Gateway Channel selection control ???
When adding CAS circuit in CCM (MGCP) it gives option to enable channels for Outbound/Inbound/Bothways. I never tried but won't that work for us. Secondly, if CAS circuit in H.323 mode you may create multiple DS0 and point DPs to respective voice-ports for outbound calls leaving others for inbound. Paul and Bobs [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Thanks for the reply. How can this this be achieved. I know from the PABX world , you can control the number of outbound and inbound channels and would love to find a way of doing this i the Cisco world on either MGCP or H.323. Doesnt matter which one (both would be good) but if not then just one of them. Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Gateway Channel selection control ???
Kapil is correct as far as CAS MGCP circuits go. I am sorry - but I was under the impression that you were strictly asking about a PRI config with MGCP. If you wanted two PRI timeslots - one used in outbound and one used in inbound only direction - set them both up as h323 (i.e. two pri- timeslot commands without the 'service mgcp' at the end). H323 can handle that problem all day long with no issues (bugs or otherwise). Cheers, -- Mark Snow CCIE #14073 (Voice, Security) Senior Technical Instructor - IPexpert, Inc. No because you can't create two pri-group timeslot service mgcp commands because then you would have to create two mgcp gateways in CUCM and 4.1.3 won't allow you to do this to the same hostname. Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Gateway Channel selection control ???
Hi Mark, I have check BugNavigator, it hits 1000 bugs..for a search it is to difficult to search for specific bugs, in past days we have TAC case collection which is very useful and easy to search, I think now TAC case collection it is not updated. Could you please someone suggest how to narrow the bug tool kit search. Thanks, Bala. --- On Wed, 29/10/08, Mark Snow [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: From: Mark Snow [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Gateway Channel selection control ???
