Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Software voice lab
Hi, I am running VMware with quad core, 8GB mem, have tried one or twice to run, all v7.x Pub,CUC, CUCCx & presence. actually i have just started working on it few days back all working fine with Ubuntu 9.10 x64. also have CMEx &5 7961 2-sip and 3 running sccp. i haven't started working with unity conn yet, but I believe 2GB should be fine for unity conn. is it ESX or VMware workstation you are running? as i am using workstation and have tested all server running same time and found no issues. [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Software voice lab
Does anyone out there is using a software/vmware/gns based voice lab at home. Obviously setup varies from a hardware lab, thought it would be nice to discuss issues and challenges to get the most out of it. Currently I'm running some issues in Unity Connections where it doesn't do anything after you punch in the pin and next you find out the ports gets unregistered. If I make it bypass it then it works ok, UC is a memory hog and currently am running it on 2GB. Please reply to this post so maybe we can form a study group helping each other on issues faced in the lab setup. Maybe start something on google wave. Thanks. ___ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com
