Hello, do you start with a loop and coot/refmac give you back a loop or do you start with a strand and get a loop back? Which fits the density best and how good is the initial fit? The position involves enzyme biochemical characterizations and structure analyses in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Hausinger working in collaboration with Dr. Jian Hu. This position is available immediately for a highly self-motivated Research Associate with experience in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and structure biology. The position is associated with an NIH-funded project to characterize enzymes that synthesize and use the recently discovered nickel-pincer nucleotide cofactor.
