Dear Colleagues, The REXS2011 registration deadline is approaching; May 1st 2011.
The website is:- http://rexs2011.grenoble.cnrs.fr/ Aim of the conference:- To bring together young and experienced scientists from different fields in condensed matter to share their experience on the application of Elastic Anomalous/Resonant Small, or/and Wide Angle Scattering (including diffraction and reflectivity). REXS2011 is the third of the International Conferences on Anomalous Scattering. The first conference dedicated to Anomalous or Resonant X-ray Scattering took place in Madrid in 1974, which was published and formed an influential volume for many years (see the book review by Michael Woolfson at http://journals.iucr.org/a/issues/1976/06/00/a13029/a13029.pdf), until followed in 1992 by the Malente conference (Hamburg, Germany, published as: ”Resonant Anomalous X-Ray Scattering“, by G. Materlik, C.J. Sparks & K. Fischer,North-Holland,1994). Dr Richard Kahn will deliver the Opening Lecture on MAD at REXS2011. Best wishes, John Professor John R Helliwell DSc
