Re: [ccp4bb] Rigaku CrystalTrak Web not working
Hi Pavel, what I meant is, that the crystal hotel usually has a computer attached to it and it has the software on it. This software is not a browser/flash based program. So if you can physically go to the location where your crystals are stored, you can use the local computer that is hosting the webserver and look at it there. At least that is the way it is setup in our facility. Cheers, Johannes Am Fr., 19. Re: [ccp4bb] Rigaku CrystalTrak Web not working
I posted this offline to Pavel, but maybe there are more people out there who might find it useful? Hi Pavel, We have built and use See3, which is a replacement for CTweb that doesn't use flash. It still uses the CM (Crystal) database. Hi Johannes, just making sure that there is no misunderstanding. I am currently working in Dr. Frank Sicheri lab at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, ON, Canada. Is this the local installation you are talking about? I am just using my Czech email account, since I have the CCP4BB already set up on this account... Re: [ccp4bb] Rigaku CrystalTrak Web not working
Hi Pavel, We have the same problem. We no longer use the web interface. We connect to the server with remote desktop protocol and run crystaltrack software remotely. While no ideal it works. If you can run a Windows 7 machine on your network and connect to the server you can install crystaltrack as a client. But from what I remember it is a fairly unpleasant experience to install the software. You local IT may not allow you to run windows 7.
