OpenVMS Alpha V7.3-2
Hi, A plea, does anyone have a copy of OpenVMS Alpha V7.3-2? I have looked at all my archives and only have it for VAX. An upgrade would also work as I have V7.3. If someone has a copy in VMS so-called ISO format that would be great. Just got a Personal Workstation 500au fully working and would prefer to keep it on V7 VMS. Many thanks, Mark
Re: Getting rid of dec writer II pdp11/83 vt320s
Hi Phil, Very interested, I worked on a similar system at the Didcot coal fired power station that has now been flattened when I worked at DEC. Is the PDP part of the bundle as well if so very interested. I am in the UK. Re: General Question about UNIBUS backplanes
The core memory/CPU backplane is a special case and doesn’t need grant cards. If you have linked up to the expansion Unibus then you need to check you have the NPG jumper in row C, Pins A1 and B1 in each slot. If these do not have wire wrap then you will either need to wire wrap them or insert a G727 into the backplane slot. Without these the units will hang on attempting to use a card that requires DMA access. Hope this helps.
