Never mind also the BCC180. All z180 powered but not the same. The first SB180 was limited to 256K of ram, the FX used the Z180 in the higher lead count J-lead package and could address 1MB. The BCC180 was for control aps and carried 156Kof Dram and up to 128K of 32K eprom or ram but had no disk IO but tons of 8255 (times 2) IO. I have the BCC180 and the SB180 (first version). Allison

Z8001/Trump Card was in the May & June 1984 issues of Byte. There was a BASIC and a C compiler. I heard that it was a minor commercial success as some big company used them as a DB accelerator of some sort using custom programming. Would be interesting to track down that story. I vaguely recall Ciarcia did a 68000 or 32000 ISA card, but my google-fu fails me; probably misremembering. The video board for the SB180 was very cool, featuring an HD63484 video controller. Pretty advanced stuff back in those days. KJ

I just scanned and pdf-ed the manual, waiting now for some disk space to free up on the bitsavers server.

I think that was called the "Trump Card" (which was generally a much more positive thing in the past).

How would you take payment for shipping? I am interested, though I am in the USA. Ciarcia Micromint (was: Steve Garcia / Micromint SB180
It was Ciarcia, not Garcia It was designed for reasonable MS-DOS compatability, with a terminal. Then Ciarcia released a keyboard interface ISA card to be closer to PC. 9 slots with the 5 slot spacing of the 5150 case (not the 8 slot spacing of 5160), with the additional ones in between - no good for thick/double cards.
