Re: [CentOS-virt] VFIO console

2018-07-10 Thread admin

I should proof read the email.

I have a Window 10 virtual machine that will boot and function 100% no
problems. But the console does not display on the monitor. I have setup
a spice terminal I will see the EFI boot screen and the other console
messages. Inexpensive is a relative term.

Thank you
Aaron

[CentOS] Semi-OT: LSI raid card sorta....

2018-07-10 Thread mark
I've got a box running C7, just updated (yesterday). It had an onboard
RAID controller, and an HBA. I just installed a new, additional RAID card,
all LSI.

MegaCli64 only sees one controller. I can't seem to find the magic to see
the others. I *know* the new card is a MegaRAID - the box it came in says
so. The system sees it
1:00.0 RAID bus controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS1078 PCI-Express
Fusion-MPT SAS (rev 04)
42:00.0 RAID bus controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS-3 3108
[Invader] (rev 02)
43:00.0 Serial Attached SCSI controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS3008
PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-3 (rev 02)

I've connected a RAID box that we had to it. I'm trying to import the
foreign configuration and bring it online. I really can't reboot the
system for (literally) another month (the maintenance window); I saw the
firmware interface, but for Reasons, couldn't do it then, and figured I'd

Hi,

certbot-auto and not certbot. Here's the script I used for this.

  sleep 3

# Installer certbot-auto s'il n'est pas présent sur le serveur
if ! -x /usr/local/sbin/certbot-auto ; then
  echo ":: Installation de certbot-auto."
  pushd /usr/local/sbin
  wget -c https://dl.eff.org/certbot-auto
  chmod 0700 certbot-auto
  popd
fi

# Arrêter le serveur Apache
if ps ax | grep -v grep | grep httpd > /dev/null ; then
echo ":: Arrêt du serveur Apache."
  systemctl stop httpd 1 > /dev/null 2>&1
  sleep 5
fi

  --webroot-path /var/www/sudlabel-webmail \
  -d mail.sudlabel.net \
  --webroot-path /var/www/sudlabel-xibo \

Selinux says:

allow unconfined_service_t unconfined_t:process transition;

audit2allow suggests to make a new module or restore /usr/bin/bash

The sidebar text in file-browser windows often has "black tape" over it,
usually completely covering text.
The file names are ok.

I wrote too soon.
Some of the file names are also getting the black tape treatment.

Suggestions on how to dignose this?

[CentOS] bad text under KDE and C7

2018-07-10 Thread Michael Hennebry

I recently installed C7 from a C7+gnome CD.
Gnome was awful enough that I promptly installed KDE.

KDE is not doing so well either.
Text in text editors invoked by "opening" a file is flakey at best.
E.g. pieces disappear and duplicate.
Terminals seem ok, including vim invoked from the terminal.
Firefox text seems ok.
The sidebar text in file-browser windows often has "black tape" over it,
usually completely covering text.
The file names are ok.
