I found reason, why update wont go. I have installed much newer glibc, than what comes with 5.3. I needed that, because of couple radioamateur progs. Now have to think, how do I downgrade glibc. Mark Hull-Richter kirjoitti viestissään (lähetysaika maanantai, 16. heinäkuuta 2007 22:40): Check the list archives for this email list - this has been discussed here a number of times. Yes, I saw plenty of discussion, but not really working answer for me. It would help if we knew what you were running (kernel version, h/w, etc.) Oh, sorry... Kernel version is vanilla 2.6.22.1 (compiled for testing ax25 stuff) Not tested with centos kernels. Have two soundcards, one use snd_ens1370 and another snd_via82xx drivers. As said, they work fine when using other multimedias. Only flash sound missing. Jarmo ___ CentOS mailing list CentOS@centos.org http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos

Just wondering, if there is Audacity package which runs in centos 5 somewhere? Have googled, but not found any. Any help? Jarmo ___ CentOS mailing list CentOS@centos.org http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos

Fabian Arrotin kirjoitti viestissään (lähetysaika perjantai, 29. kesäkuuta 2007 22:55): I quickly needed it just after centos 5 was released and no well known repositories had it at this time ... So i rebuilt it for my personal use and decided to share it (in a little home-made yum repository) with some friends who needed as well. Here it is : http://rpms.arrfab.net/centos/5/repodata/repoview/audacity-0-1.3.2-9.html I've compiled it for i386 only ... if you need the x86_64 , rebuild the srpm from FC6 but don't forget to replace Buildrequire wxGTK2-devel by wxGTK-devel in the spec file ... Thank you very much! That was just what I needed... Working perfect. Jarmo ___ CentOS mailing list CentOS@centos.org http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos
