The AsyncMessenger RDMA is a lot more useful/usable than we've had before,
but my understanding from the guys building it is that you still shouldn't
bother for production systems — the rest of the stack isn't well-tuned to
take much advantage yet, and it's not in the regular testing rotation or
supported by any vendors I know of.
I'd love to hear if any of that is wrong, though!

[ceph-users] Is RDMA Worth Exploring? Howto ?

I have a working Luminous 12.2.4 cluster CentOS 7.4 connected via 10G and
Mellanox Connect X-3 QDR IB and would like to know if there are any
worthwhile gains to be had from enabling RDMA and if there are any good up
to date docs on how to do so?
