Accessing Foxpro on a different server
Hi, All. I am attempting to access a foxpro db on a server on the LAN (legacy app of client uses FoxPro). I have the VFP drivers installed on the ColdFusion server box, and receive a verified message when checking the datasource. The problem that occurs is when I attempt to query against it and it returns a message the the TABLENAME.dbf file could not be found. I have tried naming the server in the path on the ODBC configuration as well as creating a mapping from the ColdFusion box to the directory with the FoxPro DB. I'm thinking of making an Access DB on the ColdFusion box to link to FoxPro but I really dread going about it this way. Any ideas? Problems with Oracle Driver and Stored Procedures
Hi, All. Has anyone encountered problems with stored procedures that are working with Microsoft ODBC drivers but won't work with the ORACLE drivers? Thanks in advance. I tested it using one parameter at at time and found that it broke on the NUMBER parameter. It gave me an error "Invalid precision value". I don't know why it wouldn't give me that error last week. Anyway I substituted the parameter datatype in the cfstoredproc with CF_SQL_INTEGER instead of CF_SQL_NUMBER and it works great. I don't know why it does that. Thanks so much for your help! Stored Procedures
Hi, All. I'm trying to call an Oracle stored procedure with three parameters from ColdFusion but I'm not having any success. The procedure runs fine when I run it in SQLPlus so I know it works. In CF it doesn't cause an error ... it just hangs there. I'm not returning anything from the procedure. Can you help me? Here are some code snippets I've tried. Begin SPSubmitAdjustment ('2132165', 1001, 'Karen Test'); End; Thanks, Eric -- Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/cf-talk@houseoffusion.com/ To Unsubscribe visit http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/cf_talk or send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'unsubscribe' in the body.

IIS not recognizing .cfml extension
Hi, All I have encountered an issue with displaying pages with the .cfml setting in IIS. I was able to do it previously with netscape server. I have set the extension type to use the same .dll as .cfm files use but I get a 404 when I type in search.cfml. The odd thing is if I type in search.cfml and I have a file in the directory named search.cfm then it will display. Any help would be appreciated.
