cfform issue within cflayout - cflayoutarea
Is there a way to use cfform within a cflayoutarea so that when it's finished processing it doesn't reload itself back into the original cflayoutarea? I'm using a cfform within a cflayoutarea, I submit my cfform to a processing page and after the processing, I TRY to load another page altogether. Unfortunately it reloads back into the cflayoutarea (showing two of my cfforms and throwing an error). If I use a normal form tag I won't have this issue. Using a target with cfform doesn't work. Is there a work-around for this issue? Re: www.cbo.gov down. CF to blame?
I remember two black Friday's ago HP and MS Live did a 40% off promotion. They linked from Live.com (now Bing) into HP's website though a promotion link. This wasn't heavily advertised I think partially b/c MS and HP didn't want to sell millions of these specials. Anyhow when this launched at 10am EST it just about crapped out all the way until 8pm when the promo "ended". It wasn't clear if it was MS or HP that had the issue but you would believe these two companies would be able to handle a promotions traffic. The purpose of this post is to say that if you aren't prepared for the traffic correctly it won't matter what code or servers you're running. ~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology-Michael-Dinowitz/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/message.cfm/messageid:335842 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/unsubscribe.cfm

Thanks for the tips guys. What I like about cfwindow though is it has the modal option AND I can pass a variable into it. I'll take the variable sent in and custom the cfwindow, as well as track certain data from the cfwindow. Does Security Bulletin APSB10-11 apply to MX 7.0.2?
Hello, I've noticed Adobe's recent patch indicates instructions for versions 8, 8.01 and 9, but I did not see any mention of 7.02 or earlier. Is this because Adobe no longer supports earlier versions? If Adobe is not supporting versions before 8, is there any mention that 7.02 or earlier are or are not affected by this issue? If 7.02 are affected, what can be done to secure these versions (if there is a way to secure them now). Verity Search indexing problem - reading not processing
Hello, I'm working through getting Verity up and running and I've hit a snag. Verity is going through the files fine but it's not pulling the page title attribute. The reason for this is the page title and some other values are stored in a database, then pulled with the page name when read on the site. Because Verity just "reads" the pages and doesn't process them, I can't populate the title value. So my question is, is there a way to have Verity index my site AND process the pages?
