Re:

Did you check the logs? Maybe the mail server you are using is not allowing
you to relay mail? The logs are located in c:\cfusion\logs\

If you need an alternative:
Have a look at the www.coolfusion.com
They have a email server for posting mail at $70 ( I think ) which is far
better than the built in CF mail.

I think what you want to do is :

To display it in the browser

#HTMLCodeFormat(data)#

write it to a file

I thnk you are mixing up HTML escaped charactors with using chr(*) etc,

try these

and rewrite your code

Re: Logical Limit of NT User Accounts

2000-06-23 Thread Justin v0.9 MacCarthy

FROM

http://sam.cs.unc.edu/ntfaq.html

Q. How many user accounts can I have in one Domain?

A. The real problem is that each user account and machine account takes up
space in the SAM file, and the SAM file has to be memory resident. A user
account takes up 1024 bytes of memory (a machine account half as much), so
for each person (assuming they each had one machine) would be 1.5 KB. This
would mean for a 10,000 user domain each PDC/BDC would need 15MB of memory
just to store the SAM! Imagine a network with 100,000 people. This is one of
the reasons you have multiple domains and then setup trust relationships.

Re: [Another Way...]Checking for a record, and then deleting it

The correct way in ANSI SQL
would be something Like

DELETE FROM SystemQuote WHERE CFID Exists IN
(
Select CFID
FROM SystemQuote
WHERE (CFID=#CFID# AND CFTOKEN=#CFTOKEN#)
)

Check the syntax but something like that .

For example :

Have a look at Joe Cleko's books SQL for Smarties . He has lots on these
types of relationships IE trees.
Also there are lots of SQL functions examples to answer questions like

Path Enumeration
Finding root and "Leaf " nodes
Subtree deletetion
etc

IMO His books are a must have for "Real World SQL users" :-)

Re: How to stop an infinite CF loop?

2000-06-19 Thread Justin v0.9 MacCarthy

What about using these settings in the Admin?

Timeout requests
Set a value to limit the amount of time ColdFusion waits before terminating
a request.

Restart unresponsive server
This option allows you to restart the ColdFusion Server service (daemon) in
the event some ColdFusion component does not respond within the specified
amount of time.
