Re: ColdFusion FAQ

Re: Forms Question...
If your using an Access database and have a custom definition such as telephone number once they hit the end it will jump to the next field or am I missing something here? Is there a way that once someone enters the maximum number of elements in a form, that it automatically tabs to the next field In this example, entering a phone number by areacode, prefix and suffix only. so once the user enters the 3 digit area code, i want it to hop to the next fieldis this possible, if so can someone direct me to the solution Thanks Kevin ~~ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox. Re: Adding Custom / Downloaded Tags
Thank You "Jon Hall" [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote in message 010d01c09df5$1bb8ad10$a41f88d8@ns2">news:010d01c09df5$1bb8ad10$a41f88d8@ns2... It will not unless the custom tag has a VTM file along with it. By default the VTM should be placed in C:\Program Files\Allaire\ColdFusion Studio 4.5\Extensions\TagDefs\CFML\ If the tag does not come with a VTM you can have Studio generate a VTM, but it wont have a full menu interface like the ones that come installed with Studio. Go to the Tag Inspector tab in Studio. It looks like a magnifying glass over a piece of paper. Click on the little gear to open the Tag Definitions window. Then click Add Tag and add your custom tag with any attributes you want. jon - Original Message - From: "MBB" [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: "CF-Talk" [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, February 23, 2001 4:50 PM Subject: Adding Custom / Downloaded Tags When you download or get a CF tag, you add it to the Cfusion/customtag sub directory, now how does it get scene or pulled up in studio?, like the other tags? Re: advanced list
You cant say it any better than that. "Jon Hall" [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote in message 001d01c09869$0b37d3d0$a41f88d8@ns2">news:001d01c09869$0b37d3d0$a41f88d8@ns2... Ask your question and it shall be answered. I have never seen a question no matter how advanced that has not been addressed in this group. The beta.allaire.com forums are tend to be more advanced but are not focused on getting actual things done as this group is. If you think Dave Watts,Steve Drucker, Ben Forta, Mike Dinowitz and the host of other CF Luminaries are not advanced enough, perhaps you could contribute some of your voluminous wisdom to our ever evolving community. The local cfug mailing lists probably tend to be more advanced, but less wide ranging. jon - Original Message - From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: "CF-Talk" [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, February 16, 2001 4:11 PM Subject: advanced list Can someone suggest another ColdFusion list-serv with more advanced topics and where the bulk of the members actually discuss ColdFusion topics, not jobs, or how to build simple JavaScript stuff? But, that doesn't mean I won't point you (or whoever) in the direction of a product I know about if you ask. I don't have anything against advertisements, or product announcements, but they work better on the CF-COMMUNITY list. One more thing, if we could not 'advertise' on this list, no one would now about some apps that we build. If you don't like the email JUST DELETE IT. I really hate this argument.
