Depends if he's bound and determined to use ASP, or he's open to new ideas.
If you can talk to the new guy about CF, you can find better arguments than
"whatever.com uses CF".  The rapid deployment and easy learning curve of CF
is its strongest point, IMHO.  I've worked with other big players, in
general we add new features and integrations much more quickly than other
sites do.  A large part of that is that it is simple to change things in CF,
easy to read other people's code, easy to find help if you get stuck.
Fusebox makes it even easier.
