The simple solution (you'll love this) is to disable the statement pool on your datasource... This eliminates the issue completely and doesn't noticeably affect performance. Altering db causes error with perpaired statements
This has long irk'd me without a simple solution. When altering the db (add column) all the queries with prepared statements (aka cfqueryparam) that touch that table will toss an error about data types not right. Now that is expected, but purging them is the trick. As of right now the only way I can get the queries working again is: 1. alter the query in any way, like add a single white space 2. restart cf server 3. restart sql server Anyone got any tricks? I tried re-starting the odbc clients to no avail. Cf 6.2 Sql server 2k Win 2003 OS Thanks gabe ~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:211172 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
