Re: Jrun Update and cflocation
It's a bug in the connector affecting IIS6 and IE6. For now, to resolve the issue you have to use the U5 connector. Get the jrun_ii6_wildcard.dll and jrun_iis6.dll files from /jrun4/updater6/backup/lib/wsconfig/1/ Rename the U6 version and replace with the old updater 5. Restart IIS/CF/JRun There should be a fix out soon. Andy On 10/10/05, Rob Richardson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Markus--- Have you found any solution to this problem? No, I'm saying that I could not reproduce this problem. The original poster implied that the problems were caused _by_ updater 6. I applied updater 6 and do not see this issue. So, are you saying JRun4 Updater 6, fixed your 'cflocation/302 blank response' issues? We have been seeing it too. It seems to pop up randomly on different sites. We're running CFMX 6.1 and are moving to 7 in production next month. Markus, Inspect the http header (302), to see what it says, using your favorite tool for that (firefox plugin, wget, lynx, curl or whatever). Personally I use: curl -i http://url | less for that. Re: Jrun Update and cflocation
Hi, make sure you don't have any code/output before the cflocation and try to separate the view from the logic. We had the same problem with cflocation and JRun updater 6 on CF7: cleaning the output generated by a file included on our Application.cfm (sic!) did the trick. Re: Jrun Update and cflocation
Yup, the value is correct. The browser's address bar shows the correct URL but displays just a blanks page. Doing a meta refresh does the trick, but we've got the cflocation tags in a lot of places and would prefer to keep this method in place. ~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:218429 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54

Jrun Update and cflocation
We have just applied JRun 4 updater 6 to an MX 6.1 Enterprise server. We have 2 instances set up in a cluster serving 1 site in IIS6. We have made use of cflocation in the site to redirect users to a new page. After applying Updater 6, this redirect now fails - a blank page appears, but the browser has the new URL in its address bar. However apparently only on Internet Explorer. Firefox appears to still handle this ok. We've also narrowed it down to URLs with variables in it only. The following presents the user a blank page. Hitting refresh loads it fine. Using just works ok. Any ideas on this? It worked fine before this update but I cannot find any references linking this issue to the update. ~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:218384 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
