This has been resolved, please try again. Installed some stats software and had the site down for 5 minutes. If you don't mind my asking, which screen reader do you use, Peter? ** I'm impressed by the run code feature- that's swell! I wonder if Derby could be used for database stuff somehow- I see the site is using the example stuff you can install with CF, and I know some people like building queries via code, but I'm thinking more along the write once idea (like the code/zip principle Dale spoke of)- with SQL install scripts, say. I wonder if someone has a cfc that reads DB scripts and keeps the data in memory as queries? -- another random thought Always nice to see more nifty CF-centric sites! ~| Get the answers you are looking for on the ColdFusion Labs Forum direct from active programmers and developers. http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/categories.cfm?forumid-72catid=648 Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:287582 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4

Nice Dale. I commented on the launch post, but I'll ask here too... how do community members contribute? Good evening everyone, Let me also congratulate you on the launch of this site. You'll also be happy to know that it passed the accessibility muster as I was able to visit a number of pages using my screen reader without any trouble. Finally let me also mention that the tutorials currently on the site were written by people I know from this list. I once downloaded some CF tutorials from another site several years ago and found I needed to, Clean them up so they would work as they were most likely not written by those with lots of experience programming with ColdFusion. They were a mess to figure out before we finally got them working. Keep up the good work. RE: LearnCF Launched
Peter, Thanks for the comments, the code viewer is actually reading the files from the disk, the same files that get executed and every tutorial must have a working demo. It uses CFZIP to download the same code, so you are always guaranteed to have working code.
