When I have to code on the iPad, I usually use this app and a bluetooth keypad. Well worth the cost. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/textastic-code-editor/id383577124?mt=8 http://www.textasticapp.com/ For the PC I'd look at NotePadd++ with the CFML plugin, for installation insturcitons see here: http://brien-malone-web-dev.blogspot.com/2011/08/notepad-for-coldfusion.html As for the Mac, the best light text editor probably is TextWrangler. You can download it here: http://www.barebones.com/products/textwrangler/ It also has syntax coloring for CFML. As for more heavyweight editors, there is an express version of CFBuilder that's for free and there's the very capable CFEclipse plugin for Eclipse. hth, larry ~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/message.cfm/messageid:353854 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/unsubscribe.cfm

1++ for Notepad++ I don't know if they fixed the plugin installer for the CF lexer but the last time I installed it I had to do it manually. The downloads are here.. Just unzip it and follow the instructions, https://bitbucket.org/bbluemel/nppcoldfusion/downloads The manual install requires SQLLite. Notepad++ has a ColdFusion plugin, and it is kind of nice to have color coding. Re: Lite CFML Editor
Well, this is not strictly for iPad. It'll be installed on a Windows PC and then I'll use the iPad to do a full-screen remote desktop to that PC.
