Dave, he _may_ have meant, "What can i do in CF6 that I see in CF7's
App.cfc", in other words, what is the mapping between the CFC methods
and what you can do, by hand, with CF6 and App.cfm.

If so:

onApplicationStart, onSessionStart, and onRequestStart can all be
done, with some hand coding, in Application.cfm

Thanks Ray and Assistenza.   I've passed it on to the colleague.

I figured it was far better to have Ray Camden explain this stuff to my
colleague than to try to do it myself.   Also I can get on with my work
while Ray talks to him.   And the best thing - while he's sitting at his
desk with his headphones on listening to Ray, he isnt annoying me!

Looking for Ray Camden's Application.cfc breezo

I'm trying to find the excellent breeze presentation Ray Camden gave on
Application.cfc -  there's someone at my client's office i'd like to see
it.Today it seems, google is NOT my friend because i can't bring up any
reference to it.

Can anyone point me at the recording of Ray's presentation please?  (I have
the files downloaded from Ray's blog but can't see a reference to the breezo
there either)
