I have Cold Fusion 5 running on RedHat 7.2 and I have a need to re-build the system. I'll spare you the off-topic details of why.
Anyway, I want to move everything to a temporary server with as little pain as possible. Assuming the directory structure is set up the same... can I just tar up the /usr/local/coldfusion directory and dump it onto the new server along with the init scripts found in /etc/rc.d? (The other fun part will be of course moving all the MySQL databases and the qmail server, but that's a whole 'nother topic for a whole 'nother list!) - Rick ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=4 FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
