as long as you're using the proper ODBC Drivers on the server, should work fine. ~Simon -Original Message- From: Joshua Miller [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, September 26, 2000 3:23 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: Access 2000 Databases with CF4.0 This may have been answered here before, but I'm not sure. I'm using Access 2000 MDB files just fine. Make sure you've got current ODBC drivers. Re: Access 2000 Databases with CF4.0
The problem is not CF 4.0 - I use it with Access 2000 all the time. Make sure you have the latest MDAC on the machine you're running from. RE: Access 2000 Databases with CF4.0
You may need to install the latest MDAC drivers for CF to use Access 2000. Well wait, don't really follow this recommendation until you first find out what is your current version of ODBC/MDAC and tell us what your error is. Upgrading to the latest MDAC could make it worse. - Steve Pierce -Original Message- From: Mark Warrick [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, September 26, 2000 5:39 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: Access 2000 Databases with CF4.0 I'm using Access 2000 MDB files just fine. RE: Access 2000 Databases with CF4.0
I had problems before, specifically with CF 4.0. The trick was to install CF4.0 first and then Office 2000. CF4.0 would downgrade my ODBC. 4.5 seems OK. Now I moved to SQL server and I make sure CF is NOT the last of my installations.
