Aeronautical University - which means it's most likely a kid playing.

they used to.  If they still do, you can just figure out their ISP and lodge

Yeah hotmail still does that. This only happens after a reply to a reply 
though, at least as far as Ive ever noticed having used it for about 2 years 
now.

If you download the Hotmail message using a mail client like Outlook or
Eudora, you should be able to view the header info on the first message
without having to wait for a 'reply to a reply' or anything.
