You hear the term "Cybersquatting" from time to time, which kind of defines what might be going on here. In the united states, they passed a law back in 1999 (Anti-Cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act) that can in some instances give people a legal recourse if they find their trademark is being held hostage in this manner.

These guys have a ton of domains parked there and they want to sell
you or lease you the domains(and hosting of course)...
This kind of reminds me of ticket scalping!
Any guidelines on this stuff... laws or anything?
