no idea how we got involved but thats supposed to be cfx_pop3DATE,
not cfx_pop3. its an old tag (actually included in 1st run of studio) for
parsing various (and sometimes strange) pop3 dates.

I wonder if we're talking about the save CFX_POP3? The one I'm using I
found when I went to the Developers Exchange and found a listing for
CFX_POP2--the notes give the URL for CFX_POP3:
http://www.web-architect.co.uk/CFX/cfx_pop3.zip But this one's free.
No registration on a Thai web site, just download and use.

Re: Good alternative to CFPOP ?

2002-04-25 Thread Richard Meredith-Hardy

I bought CFX_POP3 a while back because it could do something which CFPOP
couldn't in CF4.0.1. It worked well. I also discovered it couldn't do
something which CFPOP could do - so I ended up using both depending on
the precise application.

Sorry to be so vague, but I can't remember the exact details.

Hi,

Here it is. Seems to work well (unlike CFPOP). (Link taken from Owen

Well... also you can always download the TCPClient COM and build your own.
If you're into that kind of thing. Several POP3/SMTP examples.
