RE: Mail quarantine
Should the whole list be getting a quarantine message including the word that quarantined it?? I assume it's just a glitch. I don't think it's a glitch; it's how mail content filters work. If the server rejects a message based on content, it'll send a reply to the Reply-To address, which of course is the list. Bryan Stevenson wrote: Ummm...Michael Should the whole list be getting a quarantine message including the word that quarantined it?? I assume it's just a glitch. A glitch on Jason's side, not on Michaels side. One should *never* be subscribed to mailinglists under any account that can be impersonate by the postmaster. If the postmaster had just used the postmaster@domain address to send the quarantaine message it would have been bounced because postmaster@domain isn't subscribed. Postmasters should be aware of the risk for a mail loop and Jason needs to fix his email system. Which will recognize the mail and block it from the list from now on. Love iMS and the ability to add mail rules in seconds. I would have done it earlier, but I was dealing with Shemaryahu. The subject was blocked as Matt found out. :) The potential mail loop that the email created has been cut off. Surely the mail reply should be quarantined as well?
