The exe is located at System32\Inetsrv\iis.msc
Or

Right Click on My Computer and choose Manage. Expand the Services and
Applications tree and you will see IIS there.

Hello,

Sorry this is OT, but its quick: I upgraded form NT 4.0 to Advanced
Server 2000 and now IIS's Internet Service Mgr does not list in the
Program list under Start. In order to get to it I have to go to
Configure Your Server and then click Web/Media Server to access it.

Anyone run into this? Have I configured something wrong?

Thanks in advance.

RE: OT - IIS in 2000

2003-07-30 Thread cfhelp
If you really want to feel like you're in control

Click Start Run and type MMC

Under 'Consol' select 'Add/Remove Snapin'

Click the Add Button and then add what ever you want including IIS.
Then save it and create a shortcut.

Now you have customized your very own MMC.

I did this and later realized the Computer Manager had everything I needed.
