RE: OT Flash Development Environment
I like to do the ActionScript development in HomeSite+ and then just do an include in the falsh movie like so: #include "flashfile.as" You can add the .as extension to homesite+/CFStudio and it will syntax highlight and color code it for you as well. Although, if you are new to actionscript, you may want to use the editor in flash itself, it'll give you hints and syntax validation... -- Josh Trefethen :[ Exciteworks, Inc ]::[ http://exciteworks.com ]:. ::[ cf hosting on linux ]::[ consulting ]::[ expertise ]::. -Original Message- From: Jeremy Ball [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, January 03, 2003 1:31 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: OT Flash Development Environment OK. How do you add it to homesite? I added the .as extension to the extension manager, but it is not color coding my code. ~~ Stephenie -Original Message- From: Josh Trefethen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, January 03, 2003 6:57 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: OT Flash Development Environment I like to do the ActionScript development in HomeSite+ and then just do an include in the falsh movie like so: #include "flashfile.as" You can add the .as extension to homesite+/CFStudio and it will syntax highlight and color code it for you as well. RE: OT Flash Development Environment
You need to add it into the color coding extensions in homesite+. Here's how: 1) Go to: Options --> Settings... --> Editor --> Color Coding 2) Highlight "JavaScript js;" 3) Click "Edit Extensions" 4) Add "as;" to the JavaScript Scheme (should be "js;as;" after you add it) 5) Click Apply Should work now! -- Josh Trefethen .:[ Exciteworks, Inc ]::[ http://exciteworks.com ]:. .::[ cf hosting on linux ]::[ consulting ]::[ expertise ]::. -Original Message- From: Stephenie [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, January 06, 2003 9:27 AM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: OT Flash Development Environment How do you add it to homesite?
