IIRC, the Google toolbar both tells you /exactly/ what it's going to track /and/ how to turn it off -- and gives you the option of turning it off during the install. Can't get the cnn.com webpage to 'save as'...just go digging through your temporary internet files and get the file from there. You can make people jump through a couple hoops to get at your content, but you'll never be able to protect it from those who really want it.
