I'm trying to convert some Chinese character to Hex code. From Form post, take input of Chinese character (GB2312 or Big5) And then convert them to UTF-16 sorry got distracted 1) if you can use ucs-2 (utf-16 is often referred to as extended ucs-2) just dump your data into a suitable db. 2) cffile now has a encoding option supposedly supports both flavors of utf-16 (big or little endian). 3) use setEncoding to the form's encoding create a utf-16 template (notepad is a good choice) to process this stuff. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
