Don't know about Europe, but we use Efax and then send faxes using CFMAIL to a fax number like: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and it translates the part before the @ into a fax number and sends it for you. You can send attachments as PDF, Word, etc. and they'll be faxed or you can just send content in the email body.
Works pretty well for us. $10 a month and $.10 per page.
