I really like HostPro . . .
They're not the cheapest, but if you're going to be doing very many sites,
they have a great reseller's program that you could utilize!

hey, i know that we just had this conversation not too long ago, and I was
the one that was downing interland so here it goes:

I have a customer that is going to be needing a low traffic site built, the
site needs to support cold fusion, and have sql server. Is there an ISP that
has both of those for a relatively low price? Nother thing, This customer
has another 5 businesses so if this all goes well then I get to do all of
those also... so I don't want to hook him up with an unreliable place

suggestions?

If you can define this it would help with making suggestions.

So, it's a low traffic site, but it needs SQL? I fail to see the reasoning
behind this.

Seriously, I hate Access... but for a low traffic site, it will do the job
just fine.

I think that EdgeWebHosting in Maryland is excellent. Not only do they give
very good service, but they know/use ColdFusion and they offer you the
ability to add your own MS Access datasources. Their prices are also very
competitive.

RE: what part of cfm don't you understand? clarified

2000-08-28 Thread Gavin Myers

I need SQL Server because
#1 I HATE access
#2 Even though its a low traffic site now, it has the possibility of getting
higher traffic, and I'd rather suggest them to upgrade from the same ISP
then switch to a new one (kinda like start out at the basic plan of $20,
then if you get more hits go to the super basic plan of $40, then the ultra
32 hit combo plan of $100 etc)

---

and I'm looking for something in the $20 to $40 range, or higher if they
have some awsome stuff
