RE: CF MX 7 and execution time
Yes I noticed this as well. The numbers never add up and the sum of the parts is almost always *vastly* higher than the total given at the bottom. Many times the sum adds up to a number so completely wrong it's laughable. I'm now looking at a page than executed in about 1.5 seconds and the sum of the reported times is 27 seconds... > -Original Message- > From: Bryan Stevenson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Friday, September 30, 2005 1:04 PM > To: CF-Talk > Subject: CF MX 7 and execution time > > Hey All, > > I just noticed that the execution time (CF debugging output) > shows a bunch of file processing times that DO NOT add up to > the total execution time??? RE: CF MX 7 and execution time
Well, I don't know of any code that runs for 27 seconds here and I've been working on this all day, so I'm going to with 1.5 seconds is actual execution time :) Another thing I've noticed is this kind of output... Total | Avg. |Times | Template == 16 ms | 0 ms | 91 | C:\_EP\...\...\... The math just doesn't add up. If the average exection time is 0 ms then how is the total 16 ms? I'm guessing that the output rounds down instead of up. > -Original Message- > From: Bryan Stevenson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Friday, September 30, 2005 4:41 PM > To: CF-Talk > Subject: Re: CF MX 7 and execution time > > > Yes I noticed this as well. Re: CF MX 7 and execution time
Yep Steve.I think the total is probably accurate and the individual times are derived from a hamster running laps on a wheel ;-) Bryan Stevenson B.Comm.
