Coldfusion stopped sending spooled mail
Mail is just sitting in my spool directory. I'm running CFMX7.02 enterprise multiserver mode. Any way I can solve this WITHOUT restarting the Coldfusion service? Re: Coldfusion stopped sending spooled mail
We had a similar issue recently and sendmail was actually hanging up. Check to make sure your CF server can resolve the name/IP of the mail server. If it can't then CF is unable to move those messages. Rick Root wrote: Mail is just sitting in my spool directory. I'm running CFMX7.02 enterprise multiserver mode. It's the version of ColdFusion. However, both CF 4.5 and 5.0 display version 4.5. Regards, Howie - Original Message - From: Mark A. RE: Version info in spooled mail
I already deleted the email so I can't provide the proper attribution but someone remarked that both CF4.5 and CF5 send out the same version in the email header. I assume it's either an oversight on the part of Macromedia or it's the version of the code used to support the CFMAIL tag which (in this case, I guess) didn't change from version 4.5 to 5. -- Mosh Teitelbaum evoch, LLC Tel: (301) 625-9191 Fax: (301) 933-3651 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] WWW: http://www.evoch.com/ -Original Message- From: Mark A. Spooled Mail
UNIX BOX I am having a weird problem here. I have alot mail that goes out and for box 1 of our clustered set its not sending out email, and i see that its not connecting to the mail server even though the mail server is 0 load and on any other box the same code works. One thing i did notice is that the /opt/coldfusion/spool Directory has more then 30,000 emails so i am curiosu why they have not gone out CFAdmin is set to spool the mails at 15 second intervals so i am curious why it would not be going out. And I removed the spool directory and recreated it, just any ideas what could be keeping all those spool files there? Spooled mail piling up
I installed Forums on my server, and since then I've noticed that outgoing mail accumulates in the /spool folder. Any idea why the mail would sit for hours in that folder before going out? It appears that it might even sit until I do a restart of the CF Application Server program. Thanks!
