best way to invoke cfc
I was using cfinvoke but someone here said it was better to do this: cfset variables.temp = cfcs.qry How do I set the method and pass parameters? What your asking is the most basic features of ColdFusion that IS well documented in the Adobe ColdFusion documentation, if you're too lazy to go and read that to get such a basic answer, that's not our problem. But I will give you a hint, read up on CreateObject() and if your on a supported release then you could also look at the import and new operand and as your are already familiar with cfinvoke, maybe reading what other attributes and features it offers couldn't hurt either. But seriously, these basic questions are all in the Documentation. If not Google your question and you will find hundreds of examples and tutorials on this subject.
