A 500 error code means that the application server can't successfully run
the program at that URL. It's quite vague, though - it doesn't tell you why
that program isn't running. If the web service is written in CF, you should
try invoking it from a browser, and see what happens.

are you sure the method that you are calling exists in the CFC file?
