RE: Currency converter webservice
If you are specifically looking for a webservice, i'm using one from xmethods: METHOD="getRate" RETURNVARIABLE="myRate"> VALUE="Euro"/> VALUE="United States"/> DollarsPerEuro Rate from Xmethods: #myRate# I watch it by wrapping it in a try / catch block and having it send me an email whether it succeeds or fails. I also found that once in a great while, it was returning a negative value, so now i also check to see if it's positive and only update the exchange rate on the site if it is. Otherwise i stay with the old value. It's free for one rate - i just can't remember where i found the list of countries supported.
