[cfaussie] process for new features

2007-11-14 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi There

I have been tasked with creating a new process for the submission and
reviewal of new features and ideas for our sofwtare

It will also cover integration proposals.

just wondered if anyone could add to

Submissions - user submits the idea to us with details of what it is
they propose, why they propose it, who, date,

Technical Reviewal - as technical department, we then carry out a
basic feasibility test,
Can it be done?
Can we do it?
do we have the skills?
People?
Time?
what other work needs to be completed first?
Risks?
affects on the current system?
possible implementations (high level)
Support issues?
How much Money will it cost?

Commercial Review
What business benefit to us?
to the customer?
will it be a USP/Value Proposition/Diffrentiator?
Are there guaranteed sales by implementing it?

Board reviewal
We will then discuss the two reviews at board level at which point the
decision will be made to bring it ito the project

Would be greatful if anyone has any experience with this and can add
anything

Cheers

J

[cfaussie] CF6 6 Enterprise licenses

2007-11-14 Thread Kai Koenig

Hi guys,

does anyone have CF 6 Enterprise licenses that are not needed anymore?
I need CF 6 Enterprise for in total 6 CPUs (= 3 licenses). No, this
system can't be upgraded to CF 7/8 etc., it's a huge existing cluster and
can't be altered for various reasons at that stage.

You can't buy CF 6 anymore via Adobe, I've also talked to various
distributors - no way of getting it besides the grey market.

Any offlist offers very appreciated - basically the customer needs it
by the end of this week sigh :)

Cheers

PS. I'm not looking to convert this into HTML, I'm looking to overcome the

Hey guys

I have set up a test mac and have set up VNC on it using Vine VNC Server and

the refresh rate and colours.

Can anyone recommend a better solution? I am hoping i can get something
