Found it, funnily enogh I had to click on updates to get the outdated version. http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=coldfusion7 On Feb 14, 10:14 am, Stephen M [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I just got a new box at work and I was looking for the latest version of CF7 to download. [cfaussie] links breaking up in email clients
Hello all, I was wondering what people do (if anything) with long URLs that email clients seem to break up to where the user can't click them anymore? I was thinking about inserting the long URL into the database, grab the id and then include a short link like clickfind.com.au/l/10245/ and do a redirect on that address to the long link. Just checking if there are any easier and better options? Thanks -- Website designers in Australia www.web-designers-australia.com Looking for a business, product or service? [cfaussie] Re: OT: SQL Server - preserve single quotes
OK, I'm guessing that the reiinstall of SQLServer has introduced a software update with it that has finally corrected a bug within the db software (or drivers interface), that has so far gone unnoticed by letting the old behavior pass. if you're already using PreserveSingleQuotes(), you'll find that cfqueryparam makes it look like a hack in comparison (ie: using cfqueryparam doesn't need preserveSingleQuotes) if the code has not changed but the database has, then, what ever has not been eliminated, however improbable, must be the answer. [cfaussie] Re: links breaking up in email clients
I will agree with both replies... If you are sending plain text then a link back to your site to do a sort of tinyURL is the trick. Or if it is HTML then a smaller more human readable link, maksing the url is a way to go as well. You having a bad day Taco?
